BBEDC provides grants and counseling to eligible individual residents so that they are able to obtain limited entry permits through a short term, emergency transfer. Eligibility is based on residency in one of the 17 BBEDC communities, income, access to a market, access to a permit and other criteria. The purpose of the program is to provide an opportunity for eligible residents to hold a permit, that otherwise cannot afford an emergency transfer. Contact BBEDC for more information.
